Robert's Run Second Annual Charity Run
February 27, 2011
Photographs of the 2010 run have been posted on our Facebook page, check it out :-)
Known as "The Kat" through his involvement in high school and town sports teams, he was also involved in his last 8 years in town baseball. Robert was also an active member at the gym but his new passion was jogging. His passion for sport and ambition to run is now being remembered through the Subaru Niagara Running Series. Robert's Team has been created as a fundraising venture in the memory and spirit of Robert. Harriet Hamilton-Katolinsky says of her husband "He caught the bug for sure - a new passion". On September 12, 2009 Robert was struck and killed as he jogged on Woolverton Road near our Grassie home. A sea of yellow beanies worn by the runners is seen running in his memory to emphasize the message of safety and "Sharing the Road". I would like to thank you all for your continued support , Harriet.
